It’s All about You

How are you at figuring things out; as in thinking things over based upon the intentions you plan to set in motion. Do you think things through to their natural conclusion? Newton’s basic law of physics tells us that for every action there is an opposite and direct reaction. That’s universal fact. Spend some time trying to disprove it.

Kill that thought. See, that’s the problem. Folk are out here trying to disprove reality; calling it something else “politically correct.” The term itself defies reality. How can something wrong be called something else and still not be wrong? Makes no sense to me, like everything else, politically, that is incorrect. Shakespeare knew that much: a rose is a rose, is a rose, regardless of what you call it. But I digress.

No doubt we all can bare witness to the proliferation of behaviors that testifies to the destructive force of a mind out of control. What energy source drives “the man” out of the boy, before he is old enough to understand that a man is what he is supposed to become? What evil creature causes one to pluck the cherry blossom before it is able to bloom? And what thought drives that boy to excel, strive and achieved, to become his best self; and what thought empowers the most devastated and frost bitten tree in the orchard to exceed all expectations by blossoming and baring much fruit?

So, here’s the next question: Are you able to control your thoughts? And if you believe that you can, then to what end and for what purpose and to consequence or merit will you allow those thoughts to carry you? How far are you willing to go; in what direction; and for how long to achieve you “whatever?”

Engaged in our own agendas, we don’t much notice the people with whom we share air. We fail to acknowledge that every person we encounter is, by chance, design, or by any of the other numerous and unremarkable events of our daily lives is a role model. We either find something admirable, or something we fear becoming. We all are role models to one another. So what role do you play and where do you enter the scene?

Be honest: recall the last time you actually sat down, in silence, to seriously converse with your innermost personal and private thoughts? Do you really know what makes you tick, and what drives you?

What’s the price of your soul? The end is the same; we die to a cold grave. But will it be in disgrace or with honor, or does it even matter?

What would happen were you to spent time thinking things through to their natural conclusion? Will you like the outcome; or will you need a Savior? Think about it. It’s all about you.
