CLINICAL PRACTICE

In my Clinical Practice I seek to create an environment that allows you to feel comfortable and at ease in your telephone sessions. I provide a non-judgmental, confidential and friendly atmosphere that is supportive, mindful of your concerns, direct and above all, encourages interaction during the telephone session. I provide both sex therapy and psychotherapy or a combination of both depending on your issue. (For definitions and explanations see: FAQ)

At times all of us need someone to talk to. It’s human. Like you, I am no exception. So we seek out those who we feel will give us intuitive and helpful advice; possibly our priest, pastor, rabbi, minister, a friend or relative. However, the side effect of exposing confidential information with the wrong individual or getting unsound advice on a sensitive topic can have added negative effects beyond the original issue. Simply stated it can do more harm than good!

Ask yourself, have you ever discussed an intimate issue with someone you trusted to give you good advice and then later regretted doing so?

The therapeutic result of “correct” therapy is a consequence of treatment. In other words, the results of your therapy session should be judged by you to be desirable and beneficial. The goal is to positively enhance and improve your quality of life based on your desires and your right of self determination; without judgment or criticism.

In over 24 years of clinical and administrative experience I have worked with thousands of men and women who want to learn how to cope with current conditions, make quality of life improvements, change relationships, alter behaviors and in general feel better about themselves. Curriculum Vitae It is my goal to help you better understand yourself and accurately clarify what you wish for.

As a Clinical Sexologist my work focuses on individuals & couples who wish to address and explore methods to enhance their relationships, enjoy intimacy and have a fulfilling sex life regardless of age or orientation. Mental health affects physical health. They are irrevocably intertwined; each profoundly affects the other. Is it any wonder that so many individuals suffer from stress related physical ailments such as high blood pressure and heart disease?

I provide short-term solution focused sex therapy as well as psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I also offer chemical dependency counseling.
